    Community Guidelines

    Code of Conduct

We are a gay Jewish community dedicated to creating joyful, meaningful spaces. To keep our community welcoming and respectful, we ask everyone to commit to these principles:

    1. Non-Political Space

    • We are not a political organization.
    • We do not endorse parties, candidates, or partisan movements.
    • We welcome attendees with diverse perspectives, united by our Jewish and identities.

    2. Our Shared Values

We are bound together by core Jewish values:

    • Commitment to Jewish ethical principles—justice, compassion, and responsibility in the world.
    • Respect across difference—valuing everyone who joins us no matter their background or relationship with their Jewish or identity.
    • Belief in Israel's right to exist in safety and security as the homeland of the Jewish people.
    • Kind conversations—discussing even difficult topics with empathy and care.

    3. Diversity of Thought & Identity

    • We embrace the richness of Jewish life: secular, religious, Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, Reconstructionist, cultural, converted, patrilineal, and beyond.
    • We welcome every part of the community with equal dignity.
    • We honor the diversity of thought and life experiences everyone brings.

    4. Mutual Respect & Civility

    • Everyone is expected to treat others with kindness, respect, and civility in all situations.
    • We recognize that all of us hold deeply personal beliefs. Disagreement is natural—but disrespect is not acceptable.
    • Hate speech, personal attacks, or exclusionary behavior will not be tolerated.
    • If conflicts arise, we commit to addressing them with respect, honesty, and care for the dignity of all involved.

    Enforcement & Reporting

If you experience or witness behavior that violates our code of conduct, please reach out to event organizers immediately or contact us through our website.

We take all reports seriously and respond promptly. Depending on severity, consequences may range from a conversation and education to removal from events or permanent exclusion.

Our goal is always restoration and learning, but safety comes first.
